With the release today of the new Pokémon Presents, they've put more in place to celebrate their 25th year anniversary.
While this wasn't the post I was planning on doing this week, I promise you there's a more lengthy one coming out in the next few days for you.
Without further or do, let's cover what's been announced as part of the latest pokemon news!
Updates to their app games
So they have quite a few app games that they've released over the years. With the celebration of their 25th anniversary, they added a few treats for players.
On Pokémon Go, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltress, alongside Mewtwo will be available to battle for a limited time.
For Pokémon Café Mix, they're giving players 2,500 golden acorns to do with however they like. Handy for those who wanna save up.
Finally, for Pokémon Masters (if you haven't logged on already), Galar Champion Leon will be there ready to battle. (As I play this already, they also have a new Bingo board, a new event zone, both Leon and Marnie in the gacha and 3,000 gems to help out)
2. Remakes
So their second portion was remakes of games. There's only 3, so this'll be a short overview for you guys.
First of all - Pokémon Snap
After all these years, they're making a part 2 to this treasure. With more pokemon to see and take pictures of, you can be sure you'll need to keep your camera out for it.
There's new features, such as making pokemon glow and editing the pictures you take.
It'll be released 30th April 2021, so you can pre-order right now.
The final two releases are something we've waited for since they started doing these again...
Diamond and Pearl remakes!! Late 2021!!!
While the art style for this is more chibi-fied, they still capture the games as they were back in 2007. I guess the plea of the fanbase finally payed off, and people can go back to their more nostalgic series (reminds me, I wanna play Black and White again).
But that's not all...
This is ALSO a Gen 4 remake!
More of an open world concept and based around pre-Sinnoh developments, it does seem to be bringing in a different feel to how they created Sword and Shield.
As it's being released in 2022, we still have more updates to be shown on this, but they do have footage of potential gameplay graphics and art styles.
As I've only covered them in brief, here's the full video for you - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTZeVNwAmkk&ab_channel=TheOfficialPok%C3%A9monYouTubechannel
At least they limited the amount we have to catch this time!
